Credit Card companies have many years of experience and more than a handful of lawyers to help them bury the negative aspects of credit cards in the small print. Mind you, it is all legal. The major requirement for them is to disclose the truth to you. They have to tell you what all the fees are and what happens it you don't follow their rules. The government did step in and require them to in-large the size of the print. The credit card companies are also required to put all this information on one page.
The credit card companies know if they market the promotions correctly, you won't look at the one page that should mean the most to you. If they put all the promotional material in large print and lots of colors, you will skip over the part that explains how much it's going to cost.
What this page hopes to explain is what the sections say and really what they DON'T say.
